The PROFLO 2 gal. Thermal Expansion Tank is designed for potable hot water systems, featuring a diaphragm-type construction that eliminates relief valve spills and controls pressure buildup. This tank, factory precharged to 40 psi, extends the life of your water heater by managing system pressure effectively. It is made with stainless steel and includes a 3/4" SS NPTM end connection located at the top.
Rated for a maximum pressure of 150 psi and a maximum temperature of 200 degrees, the PROFLO thermal expansion tank is compliant with ANSI Z1088-2019e1 and ANSI 61 standards. Please note the Proposition 65 warning regarding cancer and reproductive harm.
