The PROFLO 160 DFU Air Admittance Valve with 1-1/2 in. PVC Adapter is designed to terminate individual, common, circuit, loop, island fixture, vent stack, or stack vents, preventing siphonage of fixture traps. This valve allows air to enter the plumbing drainage system without extending a vent to open air, effectively sealing against sewer gases. Its unique technology ensures it opens at -0.01 Psi and seals at 0 psi and above, making it reliable under various pressure conditions. The valve includes screening on air inlets to protect the seal and a protective rubber sleeve for easy installation and debris protection.
