Installation & Maintenance

Installing the ACiQ central ducted air handler is similar to replacing any standard air handler. Your technician will make all the necessary connections—electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication wiring—and integrate the unit with your return and supply ductwork.

This air handler is versatile, with multi-positional capabilities (upflow, downflow, or horizontal), making it suitable for various installation layouts. It can be controlled by any 24V thermostat that supports two stages of heating.

For extreme cold, supplemental electric heat kits are available as a backup heat source. The air handler also features an intelligent control board that displays fault codes, allowing for quick identification and resolution of any system issues during maintenance.

Please Note: The air handler must be installed with a compatible condenser and other necessary equipment, which may be sold separately if not included in the product bundle. To use electric heating, an additional electric heat kit is required, available at an extra cost.
