Installation and Durability

Installing the ACiQ Wall Mount Ducted Air Handler follows the same process as installing any replacement air handler. A technician will complete the electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, along with tying into the return and supply ductwork. This unit is designed for vertical wall mounting in an up-flow-only configuration. It can be controlled by any 24V thermostat with two stages of heating, though the compatible ACiQ thermostat is recommended. Electric strip heat can be added for backup heating on the coldest days, and the built-in intelligent control board displays fault codes to help with troubleshooting and maintenance.
